First Aid and CPR Instruction Courses::

As an instructor in the diving, swimming, or lifeguarding fields, it is important that you can train your students in the appropriate first aid and CPR courses. Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRI):

CPR and first aid are important skills that are in high demand. As an Emergency First Response Instructor, you can teach these skills to anyone.

During the course you will gain experience in how to structure learning, the requirements of performance-based training, and your role as the instructor in the learning environment for teaching CPR and first aid. You will also learn how to motivate students, evaluate student knowledge, present course content effectively, become proficient in developing students' hands-on skills during practice sessions, and are taught how to present an effective scenario-based learning experience.

Diving Medical Specialty Instructor Courses:

Some hazards become greater when you are around the water. Your students can appreciate this. These courses prepare them to handle the emergencies that may come with these hazards. These courses focus on responding to specific dive related emergencies.

AED for Divers Instructor:

It is becoming more common to find Automatic Emergency Defibrillators (AED) in the dive industry. With this course you will instruct them on the safe use of the AED. With this knowledge and skill, they can possibly save a life.

Hazardous Marine Life Injuries Instructor:

While beautiful and delicate, some aquatic life can pack a hidden punch. Whether it is a bite, puncture, or a sting, your students need to know how to help their buddies when someone gets too close to the wildlife.

Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor:

Train your students about the benefits that oxygen can have when properly administered to injured divers. With this course you will instruct them in the procedures to do this safely.

Divers Alert Network Medical Instructor Courses:

As a DAN Instructor, you can offer your students these diving medical specific classes that will help make them safer divers.

  • Diving Emergency Management Provider (DEMP) Instructor
  • Diving First Aid for Professional Divers (DFA PRO) Instructor

DAN Instructors are scuba diving educators who want to offer dive safety programs to their students. To become a DAN Instructor, you must participate in a DAN Instructor Qualification Course (IQC).
