Chattahoochee Scuba
Pool Programs:

We offer a wide variety of fun activities at our pool facility. Our pool is an indoor, heated, pool with a shallow end that is 3 feet deep and a deep end that drops to twelve feet. The dimensions of the pool are 50’ by 30’. We have lap measurements posted so that you will know how many laps to swim to meet your ¼ mile, ½ mile or 1 mile swimming goals. Pool Pass:

We offer an Annual Swim Pass so that community members can come by to swim all year long. Our pool is available whenever we are open for lap swimming and swimming skill practice. The pool is open during shop hours, unless it has been booked for a private party. Use of the pool outside of these hours is possible through special scheduling. Patrons have used the pool to train for triathlons, prepare for schools and courses, improve their strokes, and have fun exercising.

Details:
  • Individual pass for unlimited visits one year: $90.
  • One time visit: $10.
  • Family pass for one year: $180*.
  • Changing rooms available.
  • Rinse showers available.
  • No lifeguard on duty.
*Family consists of parental figures and dependent children.
Learn To Swim:

If you would like to learn to swim or would like to improve your strokes, we have instructors available. We offer year round swim courses from beginner to advanced, 6 month old infant to adult. Please refer to our "Swimming Programs" Page for more information.

Lifeguard Course- Learn to Save a Life:

The Lifeguard Training course teaches you the knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. The course content and activities prepare participants to recognize and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and prevent drowning and injuries.

  • Professional behavior.
  • Identifying swimmers.
  • Emergency action plan.
  • Responding to emergencies.
  • Equipment-based rescue.
  • First aid.
  • Breathing and cardiac emergencies

Pool Parties:

Hold a party at our facility. Our indoor heated pool is open for parties year around. We also provide a party room for cake and ice cream. Please refer to our "Pool Party" Page for more information.

Swimming Instructor Course- Learn to Teach Swimming:

This course trains instructor candidates to teach water safety, including the Basic Water Rescue and Personal Water Safety courses, different levels of swimming courses, and two levels of parent and child swimming.

Snorkeling Courses:

If you are interested in looking down at the colorful fish from the surface of the water? A quick and easy way to do this is by snorkeling. If you are interested, look at our selection of classes and then stop by the shop for more information.

Discover Snorkeling:

This experience opens up some of the possibilities of the world of snorkeling. It introduces you to some snorkeling skills and provides basic guidance with commonly used snorkeling tips and suggestions.

Skin Diver:

This course provides you with more advanced skin diving skills to further expand your ability to journey into the underwater world. Throughout this class you will learn and demonstrate a variety of diving skills that safely take you from the shore, through the dive, and back to the land.

Discover Scuba Diving Experience-Try Out Diving:

The Discover Scuba Diving Experience lets you try out scuba diving without signing up for a course, buying equipment, or spending time studying. It lets you experience what scuba is like in a safe confined water setting (pool). If you enjoy the experience and wish to sign up for the full Open Water Scuba Dive course, successfully completing this experience will count as the first dive toward your certification.

The Experience:
  • Watch a short informative video on scuba diving and the skills you will learn.
  • Review those skills with your instructor in the shallow end of our indoor pool.
  • With your instructor as your guide have fun scuba diving in the deep end of the pool.
