Divemaster- Learning to Lead Divers:

Throughout this course you will learn dive leadership skills in both the classroom and during independent study. You will complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems as well as help others improve their diving skills. Divemaster Course Details:

Each of the different parts of the course proceeds at the student's pace. The student must demonstrate successful understanding or mastery before the instructor will proceed on to the next section.

  • The Divemaster Couse involves the development of many different skills and the expansion of your base dive knowledge.
  • You will study many diving related subjects, such as physics, physiology, dive theory, dive leadership, equipment, etc.
  • It is not all about learning from books though. You will also assist an instructor with students during a wide range of differnt types of dives from Open Water through advanced/specialty dives. You will assist in both confined and in open water settings.
  • As part of the course you will have some workshop/dives to make such as search and recover and deep. You will prepare a map of a dive site as well as assist in briefings and site setups.
