Diving in the overhead environment adds an interesting set of challenges and hazards to a dive team. It is a branch of technical diving that requires that divers follow certain rules in order to do it safely. For those with the dedication and discipline it open up a fantastic underwater world few others ever get to see. This course will train you to safely dive in Caverns. It is a course designed to teach you the fundiments upon which your future overhead environment dives will be based. It will provide you an opportunity to see if the overhead world is for you.
This course will train you to conduct limited cave dives. Upon successful completion, will be able to conduct cave dives to the limit of your training with the dive equipment you took the course with. This course builds on the Cavern Course fundimentals and forces you reach the next level of overhead environment diving.
This is a "full" cave course. During this course, you will learn much more advanced techniques for diving in caves. This is an intensive course designed to test and improve your skills as you progress through the dives. In addition to further improving the skills you learned in the Intro to Cave class, you will learn more complex skills, such as jumps/gaps, circuits, and traverses.
This is a difficult cavern diver instructor course. Upon successful completion, you will be able to teach the Cavern Diver Specialty. As a Cavern Diver you will start your students down the path to becoming overhead environment divers. You will teach them emergency procedures, dive planning, and more. This is a very rigorous instructor course for those experienced Cave Divers who are instructors and ready to take the next step.
